TICKET INFORMATION
All seats are reserved in our shaded Grandstand. All Friday night seats are $7.00 for Adults;
Toddlers through 11 years old are $3.00; Babes in arms are free. Saturday and Sunday seats
are $10.00 for Adults; Toddlers through 11 years old are $3.00; Babes in Arms are free.
Tickets can be obtained in advance by printing the Pre-Order Tickets form on our
Downloads page and mailing it with a check payable to the
S.B.C. Saddle Horse Association and indicating the desired seat location to P.O. Box 56,
Hollister, CA 95024. You can also call the office, (831) 628-3545, to reserve seats.
All ticket sales are final.
Tickets can also be purchased at Rancher's Feed and Bolado Park.
On June 27th tickets can be obtained at the Fairgrounds starting at 10:00 a.m.
WESTERN ART & EQUIPMENT SHOW
If you're in the mood to acquire some very fine leather, jewelry, paintings, clothing, gear,
hand crafted equipment, etc., then browse through the tent located in front of the Grandstand.
Don't miss the Wine and Cheese Reception in the tent on Friday June 27th, at 5:00 p.m. sponsored by
the S.B.C. Saddle Horse Association and the Wine Growers Association.
FREE EVENTS IN THE KIDS CORRAL
Check out the Kids Corral at the north end of the Grandstand. Face Painting, slides, games and
a fun jump are part of the planned activities.
NEW THIS YEAR - MEMORIAL ROPING, SATURDAY, JUNE 21st
This event is dedicated to those competitors who we lost too soon: Richie Fehlman,
Kenny Vierra, and Tommy Carreiro. This event starts at 8:00 a.m. in the Arena. Spectators
are encouraged to attend, and are FREE.
ELKS' FRIDAY BARBECUE ON JUNE 27th
The Elks' Club is hosting a BBQ on Friday from 5 - 7 p.m. under the trees.
Adults $12, kids 6-12 $5, under 6 free. Tickets are available at the barbecue.
MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
You can become a lifetime member of the Saddle Horse Association for $10.00. Just
call the Saddle Horse Association office at (831) 628-3545 for an application or
by printing the Pre-Order Tickets form on our Downloads
page and mailing it with a check payable to the S.B.C. Saddle Horse Association.
Then bring your table service and your appetite to the Annual Membership BBQ on
Sunday, June 22nd, starting at 1:30 p.m. Begin the day by watching the Figure-8
eliminations at 8:00 a.m., then jackpot roping immediately following.
You can't beat a wonderful steak bar-be-cue for just $10.00 per member, $15.00 per
adult guest, or $5.00 for children 6 to 12 years. Children under 6 are free.
Coffee is provided, otherwise BYOB.
ELIGIBILITY RULES
The eligibility rules for contestants have been expanded to include people who have
been contestants in the past 5 years and have moved to one of the 5 contiguous
counties (Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Merced or Fresno).
LOST AND FOUND DEPARTMENT
Be sure to contact the Office and inquire about our lost and found box. Each year,
we collect items that have lost their owners. Keys, coin purses, hats, etc., are in
the current collection. If you can give us a good description of the article -
it could bring you back together.
EXHIBITOR HANDBOOKS
Books and entry forms are available at local Western & Feed Stores, Chamber of
Commerce, Horse Show Office, or calling us at (831) 628-3545, can be downloaded from
this website. ENTRY DEADLINE IS JUNE 13th AT 6:00 P.M. ENTRIES WILL ALSO BE ACCEPTED
IF POSTMARKED BY THE DEADLINE OF JUNE 13th.

If you are interested in donating money toward the purse or prizes in any class, please
call the Office at (831) 628-3545.
If you want to advertise your business in our Show Program call the Office for
details. Ads range from full page color down to business card size. Prices range from $650 down to
$60. Approximately 7,000 people read the program so you get good coverage for a reasonable fee.
SADDLE HORSE ASSOCIATION MUSEUM
Check out the Association Museum located at the outside south end of the Grandstand.
The Museum houses memorabilia of many of San Benito County's finest (and famous)
cowboys and cowgirls.
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The success of the Saddle Horse Show is due, in part, to the wonderful cooperation and
support of the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce. They sponsor the Downtown Rodeo
Parade on Thursday night.
